Ending a ride early, or not finishing a race because of a ball joint, is an awful day. Factory RZR Pro R and Turbo R lower ball joints are one of the discovered weak links of these RZR’s. One of the major flaws is the step from the tapered seat to the threads. That sharp reduction in material adds a weak point allowing the shaft to snap right at the threads. The big issue with a Ball Joint failure is that it typically is followed by more damage and even possibly a crash. The Sandcraft Lower Ball joints for the RZR Pro R and Turbo R address this by providing a much larger diameter thread and thus eliminating that weak step point. These Sandcraft lower ball joints also eliminate the c-clip in exchange for a threaded cap that secures the ball joint in the arm.
